Welcome to Ultrateq! These terms and conditions outline the rules for using our website (www.ultrateq.co.za) and making purchases. By browsing or buying from us, you’re agreeing to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our site.

Using Our Website
Who can use our site? You need to be 18 or older to place orders, or have a legal guardian’s supervision.
What’s not allowed? Using our site for anything illegal (like fraud or hacking) is a big no-no. Also, please don’t try to mess with our website or other users.
Our awesome content: Everything you see on our site (logos, images, etc.) is owned by or licensed to Ultrateq and protected by South African law. Please don’t use it without our permission.

Ordering and Payment
How orders work: When you place an order, it’s subject to what we have in stock and us confirming your payment. We officially have a deal when we email you confirming your order or when we ship your goodies. We can refuse or cancel orders if needed (e.g., if something’s out of stock or the price was wrong).
What you pay: All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT. We try our best to have accurate prices, but mistakes can happen. If there’s a pricing error, we might cancel your order or contact you to sort it out. You’re responsible for any extra costs like customs duties (if they ever apply).
How to pay: We accept:
Payfast: Secure debit/credit card payments and Instant EFT, processed right away. Their terms apply.
Buy Now Pay Later (Mobicred & Payflex): Available if they approve you, and their rules apply to your payment schedule.
Is my payment secure? Yes! We use secure payment gateways (like Payfast) that meet industry standards. We don’t store your full credit card details directly. By ordering, you agree to us sharing your payment info with these processors to complete your purchase.

Getting Your Gear (Shipping & Delivery)
Check out our separate Shipping and Delivery Policy for all the details on how we get your order to you, estimated delivery times, costs, and what happens once it’s with the courier.
We’ll do our best to get it to you on time, but we’re not responsible for delays caused by the delivery company or other things we can’t control.

Returns, Refunds & Warranties
Our Returns and Refunds Policy and Warranty Policy have all the info on what to do if you need to return something, how refunds work, and what warranties cover our products (including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act). If you used a “Buy Now Pay Later” option, refunds will go back to your account with them, following their rules.

Your Privacy & Our Data Protection Promise
We take your privacy seriously and follow the rules of South Africa’s POPIA law. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our site and ordering, you agree to how we handle your data as described in that policy, including sharing necessary info with payment and delivery folks.


Our Responsibility to You (Limitation of Liability)
As allowed by law, Ultrateq isn’t responsible for indirect losses (like lost profits) that might happen from using our site or buying our products, unless the law says we absolutely are (like for harm from faulty goods under the CPA) or if we were really careless or did something intentionally wrong. Our responsibility to you for any direct losses is limited to the price you paid for the goods, unless we were grossly negligent.

Sorting Out Disagreements (Dispute Resolution)
If we have a disagreement, please email us at info@ultrateq.co.za so we can try to sort it out informally. If we can’t agree, we might go to mediation or arbitration in South Africa, following their rules. This doesn’t take away your right to contact consumer protection agencies under the CPA.

Changes to These Terms
We can update these terms whenever we need to by posting the changes here. If you keep using our site after we make changes, you’re agreeing to the new terms. We might also email you or put a notice on our site for significant changes. So, it’s a good idea to check back here now and then.

Which Laws Apply? (Governing Law)
These terms and our agreements with you are governed by and follow the laws of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, and the Protection of Personal Information Act.
